Liquid Earth

Regular visitors of this website (yes, both of you :-) might have noticed some subtle changes in the look & feel and the content. The old static site turned out to be too cumbersome to maintain, so I decided to migrate the site to squarespace.com, a sleek and easy-to-use online content management solution. It comes with lots of built-in features, among which is this weblog, so theoretically there shouldn't be any excuses anymore for not updating the site for a long time.

 Apart from the content management aspect, I tweaked the layout a bit so that it will display nicer on various screen sizes. Among other things, the Flash based "wave" at the top of the screen is now dynamically inserted and resized according to the user's screen dimensions.
