People have been exploring the world since the beginning of man's existence. Until recent times, however, exploration was only possible for a limited few and often only on a limited scale. Today, modern communication technology enables us to relay information from even the most remote places to anywhere in the world in mere seconds. This creates enormous potential for publicity, promotion, education, science, and entertainment.

Together with XMARX, founded by explorer Marc Cornelissen, Liquid Earth developed communication concepts to realize this potential. An example is the Pole Track 2005 expedition during which an international team of explorers will investigate the effects of climate change on the Arctic. Using a mix of cutting-edge technology and more traditional media, not only will the expedition team be able to convey a sense of adventure to the public in a much more direct way, people will also be made aware of the vulnerability of this special place on earth and the need to protect it.
This expedition project is part of an ongoing collaboration between Liquid Earth and XMARX, which includes the development of other products in the fields of science, education, product development, travel, and entertainment.
