2007 and 2008 are officially marked as the International Polar Years. Dutch explorers Eric Schlameisen, Philip de Roo and Joep Bovens take this opportunity to do a double crossing of the Greenland icecap under the name 'Notice Expedition' during these two years. This expedition will solely rely on climate-neutral energy sources such as sun, wind and Biofuel. The first crossing from East to West took place in 2007 and covered 600km. The second crossing, South to North, will cover an incredible 2500km.
They will share their adventure through an online video series produced by Liquid Earth.
